1TM came into the match knowing a point would be enough to clinch the title. The game started at a furious pace, with both sides creating early chances. Gaelic Lions were relentless, chasing down every ball and turning half-chances into opportunities thanks to their incredible work rate. 1TM, too, looked dangerous, and while some early efforts sailed over the bar, it was clear we were finding our range. In the second half, 1TM began to dominate possession and used the pitch much more effectively. Our breakthrough came after some excellent play down the left, where the ball found Polo inside the box. The Youth Academy combined beautifully, as Polo slid a superb ball across to Boggy, who had found space and made no mistake to slot it home for 1-0. The second goal followed soon after. Flat White was played through, drove into the box, and his shot looped over the goalkeeper to double our advantage. The match continued to be played at an intense, competitive pace, with a few heated battles, but it was all handshakes and mutual respect at full time.
