What a game

2pm TKO at SAS. After the tough defeat conceded to SFC 2 weeks ago, GSC entered this cup semi-final with a different mindset. Good aggressivity and pressure straight from the start saw GSC opening the mark after 4 min in the game on a beautiful kick from the corner of the box from Ewan which landed straight on the top corner of the net. 1-0 GSC Both teams put lots of effort into controlling the game. After 20min, SFC managed to equalize on a nice counterattack well finished by their striker. Before the game stopped due to a lightning alert at the 35’, Liam from SFC got injured after bad reception on his arm and left the pitch. We wish him a speedy recovery ! The second half restarted under the rain with both teams contesting the ball for the first 15min. On a corner kick played rapidly, SFC managed to position a player at the entry of the box with a clean finish under the crossbar. 2min later, SFC crucified GSC. 1-3 The game continued with GSC still believing in their chances. With 5min to go, GSC managed to get one back. Following a long throw in, Anatole managed to finish a nasty bouncing ball. 3-2 GSC kept pushing and after a great collective movement equalized. 2nd lightning alert straight after push the game to a penalty session. 4-5 for SFC Thanks to the officials that delivered a great game and congrats to SFC for a well contested match until the end
